PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY — A search was underway Friday for three suspects wanted for questioning about an arson investigation in Santa Monica.
The fire broke out shortly before 2 p.m. Monday at a vacant lot between two residences located on the 600 block of 11th Street, police said.
Several surveillance cameras in the area captured the suspects in an alley running from where the fire started. A residence and property owned by a utility company were damaged in the blaze.
The male suspect was described as white or possibly Hispanic. He was photographed wearing black-rimmed glasses, a white baseball hat and carrying a red and yellow skateboard. The two female suspects were also described as white or possibly Hispanic, in their late teens with medium builds and brown and dark brown hair.
