Food for first responders

Local residents Tyler & Scott Heineman wanted to do something to help acknowledge first responders and support their favorite restaurants during these difficult times. They purchased lunch from local establishments for all the civilian & sworn personnel working on Easter Sunday at the Santa Monica Police Department, where their father, Steve, worked for 25 years. Word spread and people contacted the family to make donations and the two have been able to provide a weekend brunch every week. In lieu of additional donations, organizers are asking the public to thank a first responder if they see one.
