A number of Samohi football players were injured in a loss to Inglewood last Friday.
Of the injured, linebacker Justyn Coker injured an already-banged up shoulder. Head Coach Travis Clark said that he intends to rest Coker this week against Ocean League rival Beverly Hills and perhaps beyond depending on how he responds to treatment.
Running back Kori Garcia injured his hand in the game, but said that he expects to play this week.
Tight end Matt Schultz injured his knee, yet his status for this week’s game is unknown.
The Samohi Vikings are 3-3 this season and 0-1 in Ocean League play.
