Malibu High School’s run at a national surfing title came to an end in San Clemente over the weekend.
The team, one of eight taking part in the Red Bull Riders Cup National Championship, made it as far as the semi-finals before being eliminated by eventual runner-up San Dieguito Academy on Sunday. San Dieguito Academy lost to champion Mira Costa High School in the final on Sunday.
