SAMOHI — Crossroads boys' basketball fell for the second time as part of the Santa Monica Tournament on Wednesday. This time to Inglewood, 57-40.
Crossroads lost to Chaminade on Tuesday as part of the tournament.
Crossroads won't play in the tournament again until Friday. The opponent and game time are still undetermined as the Roadrunners await the results of games played on Thursday.
St. Monica wins big
St. Monica basketball posted a big 83-27 win over New Designs Center on Tuesday as part of the Mariners' annual invitational.
St. Monica was led by Spencer Gorman, who totaled 14 points. Kaivon Simab added 13.
The win came on day two of the tourney. The Mariners fell to Newbury Park on Monday.
Tuesday's win improves St. Monica's record to 2-1 on the season.
St. Monica was scheduled to play University on Wednesday, but results from that game were not available at presstime.
