The incredible variety of work from Santa Monica College’s Center for Media and Design was on display on June 6, as the center at 1660 Stewart St. was taken over by the 2024 Student Showcase.
Locals were able to learn about the bevy of degrees offered by the college, ranging from animation and film to graphic design and architecture. Architectural student projects were on display inside the center, while the courtyard featured presentations from a host of degree pathways and related clubs, such as sketches from the Figure Drawing Club.
The event was the latest in a series of Chamber Talent Connect endeavors, a partnership between Santa Monica College and the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce designed to bring college students into the local workforce.
