Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD) officers saw a bicyclist riding at night without a front lamp in violation of the vehicle code. They stopped him and found he was in possession of lost property, burglary tools, methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe.
Gregory Alexander Gaston, 40, of Venice, was booked for possession of burglary tools, methamphetamine, smoking paraphernalia, appropriation of lost property and operating a bike at night without a lamp. His bail was set at $1,000.
