Expo Light Rail Line
Note the following activities:
1. Intersection closures: 11th Street will be closed to northbound and southbound traffic at Colorado Avenue, Dec. 9-15 from 9 a.m. to 6 a.m. Work will continue 24 hours per day for seven days to install train tracks. Relocation of traffic signals will occur at the intersections of Colorado and Sixth Street on Monday, and at Colorado and Seventh Street on Nov. 27. Signals will be out of service from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., however traffic service officers will be in place at these intersections to guide and direct traffic.
2. Colorado Avenue between Fifth and 17th streets: Expect westbound and eastbound lane closures during daytime hours. Expect reduction of travel lanes during the non-peak daytime hour at Fifth, Sixth and Seventh streets at Colorado. Alleys on the north side of Colorado between Sixth and 17th streets will have limited access. Sidewalk and lane closures on north or south side of Colorado between Fourth and 10th streets.
3. Olympic Boulevard between 20th Street and Centinela Avenue: Eastbound and westbound lane closures during non-peak hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
4. Colorado between Fourth and Ninth streets: Night work will take place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for potholing activities. Expect reduction of travel lane and possible intermittent lane closures.

Annual Street Resurfacing
The contractor will be striping Santa Monica Boulevard between Lincoln Boulevard and 20th Street. Expect some delays but there'll be one lane of traffic open in each direction. For more information, contact Hany Demitri, City of Santa Monica Civil Engineering Division at (310) 458-8721 ext. 5385.
Santa Monica Pier Renewal
Construction will continue and is estimated to conclude in spring 2014. The pier and its businesses will remain open during construction. Contact Curtis Castle, civil engineer, at (310) 458-8721 if you have any questions.
Advanced Traffic Management Systems
The contractor will be making concrete sidewalk restoration and clean-up along Ocean Park Boulevard, Neilson Way and Main Street. There should be no impact to traffic. For more information, contact Hany Demitri, City of Santa Monica Civil Engineering Division at (310) 458-8721 ext. 5385.
Parking Structure No. 6
There will be periodic sidewalk closures on Second Street between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard through Nov. 27. There will be a continuous northbound lane closure through Nov. 30 on Second Street between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard. One northbound lane on Second Street between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard will remain open at all times. Temporary traffic control signs and barricades will be deployed to guide vehicular and pedestrian traffic in and around the work areas. Materials delivery work will take place in the alley behind the parking structure (Second Court), with partial alley closures taking place through Nov. 27. All work will take place Monday through Wednesday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
Wastewater Main Improvements Citywide
The contractor will continue with the installation of a new sewer main on 32nd Street, from Pico to Ocean Park boulevards. This work will take place between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 32nd Street will be closed to through traffic. Use alternate route whenever possible. The Village
There will be a lane closure on the northbound side of the 1700 block of Ocean Avenue, extending south to Vicente Terrace. The parking lane and the number two lane will be closed for sidewalk, curb and gutter rework from Vicente to Pacific terraces. One lane will be available in the northbound direction at all times. The southbound lanes will not be impacted. The city will also be closing down the sidewalk and parking lane on the west side of Main Street and Olympic Drive for sidewalk, curb and gutter rework. High Place East
There will be delivery trucks throughout the week on Cloverfield Boulevard between Interstate-10 and Virginia Avenue, and on Virginia Avenue between Cloverfield and 27th Street for the development of 45 affordable housing units.
