Officers were flagged down by a witness who described a tall, white male, approximately 30 years old, wearing grey, baggy clothing as a possible suspect.
The bike and the suspect were later located in the 11000 block of West Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Thomas Tracy, 33, of Santa Monica, was arrested for possession of stolen property and grand theft. Bail was set at $20,000.
