Officers responded to the Pavilions Motel near the 2300 block of Ocean Park Blvd for a domestic violence call. Dispatch relayed that a male victim had been hit in the head by a female suspect with a cell phone and was bleeding. The suspect, Shelley James, was located inside a unit at the motel, placed under arrest for inflicting injury on a co-habitant and assault with a deadly weapon. Fire responded to the location to treat the victim.
