Registration is now open for the City of Malibu Community Services Department’s excellent winter programs for people of all ages. Starting January 16, 2020, instructors will provide fun, educational and enriching Parent and Me, Youth and Adult Classes.
Parent and Me Classes promote bonding between a parent and child while developing cognitive, social and motor skills. Winter programs will include weekly morning classes in gymnastics, soccer, music and yoga.
Youth Programs help children develop social skills, motor skills, coordination and self-expression. Winter programs include soccer, chess, cartooning, yoga, youth improv and teen improv.
The City of Malibu Community Services Department and the Boys and Girls Club of Malibu will offer Afterschool Enrichment Programs at Malibu Elementary School and Webster Elementary School. Winter programs include Lego Robotics, Hogwarts Academy, Gymnastics, Healthy Culinary and Gardening.
Adult Programs encourage new skill development for those who are 18 years and older. Winter programs include ballroom dance classes, Tai Chi, creative writing and one-day workshops through MLab.
