AIM Advocates met with Federal legislators in Washington, DC, in the hopes of securing their support of key legislation toward Alzheimer’s care, treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and all dementia.
Today, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease. In California alone, more than 690,000 people are living with the disease. Additionally, more than 11 million family members and friends serve as caregivers nationwide with more than 1.1 million Californians serving as dementia caregivers.
