Santa Monica Public Library is proud to present Songs of the Season with the Lyric Chorus of SMC Emeritus College on Thursday, December 12, at 11 a.m. in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium at the Main Library, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
The SMC Emeritus Lyric Chorus returns, under the direction of Tom Gerhold and Linda Jackson, for a seasonal concert featuring a variety of Broadway songs and holiday favorites. Founded in the 1940s as the Santa Monica Lyric Chorus, the twenty-member group was renamed the Lyric Chorus of SMC Emeritus College when the Emeritus College opened in the 1970s. This winter concert is sure to delight all ages.
