Santa Monica Public Library's Ocean Park Branch will host a panel discussion with mystery writers Laurie Stevens, Christopher J. Lynch, Mar Preston and Lisa Seidman on Saturday, June 20, at 2 p.m.
Laurie Stevens, the panel moderator, is the author of the bestselling Gabriel McRay psychological thrillers which take place in the San Gabriel Valley. Christopher J. Lynch writes the "One Eyed Jack" series about a professional blackmailer who operates around the South Bay, and whose debut novel is about to start film production. Mar Preston's mystery series feature fictional Santa Monica police detective Dave Mason. Lisa Seidman is an Emmy award-winning writer and the author of "Killer Ratings," a mystery novel set behind the scenes of a popular TV series.
This program is presented in partnership with the Los Angeles chapter of Sisters in Crime, an international organization made up of authors, readers, publishers, agents, booksellers and librarians bound by a passion for the mystery genre and support of women writers.
