Committee For Racial Justice will commemorate WOMEN’S MONTH by hearing from diverse female activists in the struggle for equity and justice. Presenters include Margaret Prescod, the host and producer of “Sojourner Truth” a popular nationally syndicated drive-time public affairs program on a number of radio stations around the US including Pacifica Radio’s KPFK. Margaret is a long time activist on social justice issues, especially those that impact women of color.
We’ll also hear from Lily Gonzales, a Homeboy Industries alumna, Revolutionary Scholars Co-Founder, 2017 Leading with Conviction JLUSA fellow and a 2018 Newman Civic Fellow. Lily is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Chicano/a Studies at California State University, Northridge.
