Explore the City of Malibu’s wide variety of excellent educational, sports, artistic and cultural programs, camps and events offered this fall in the City’s Fall 2021 Recreation Guide and City Newsletter, available online beginning Friday, August 6 at MalibuCity.org/CommunityServices.
“Malibu’s high-quality, professionally-run programs are more important than ever to the wellbeing of our community,” said Mayor Paul Grisanti. “I am proud that we have been able to continue offering them during the pandemic, and I encourage everyone in Malibu to check out the Recreation Guide and sign up.”
The Guide, which is now completely digital, is meant to help the community enjoy the City’s many excellent programs and parks. The Guide also includes informative articles and contact information for City departments and services.
Residents can view upcoming City programs offered September through November, including Afterschool Programs, CineMalibu, Youth Basketball League, Water Polo, Senior Programs. The Guide also includes facility schedules, program descriptions and contact information for City departments and services. Registration for Fall Programs opens on Monday, August 9 at 8 a.m. at MalibuCity.org/Register.
Due to COVID-19, a limited number of Community Services Department programs and modified events will be available with safety protocols in place. All programs will follow current Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Safety Guidelines and Protocols. Staff will continue to monitor epidemiological metrics and public health guidelines and will revise the programming as needed.
