The Santa Monica College Pete & Susan Barrett Art Gallery is pleased to present its annual SMC Faculty Art Exhibit, featuring a wide range of works in various media, starting Monday, October 4.
Gallery exhibition viewings are free and available by appointment only, which can be scheduled by sending email to silver_emily@smc.edu. Proof of vaccination is required upon arrival at the gallery.
The show, which features about 20 original works by professional artists who are members of the SMC art faculty, celebrates the working artists, designers, and art historians who teach and inspire the Santa Monica community. The show is also the precursor for the SMC Art Department’s new YouTube channel, which will feature interviews with art faculty in their studios or in the gallery, revealing their journey in creating their work.
The SMC Pete & Susan Barrett Gallery is located at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street (at Santa Monica Boulevard), Santa Monica. Please enter from the Performing Arts Center’s courtyard.
