On July 13 at about 2:45 a.m.
Officers responded to a call for a suspicious vehicle occupying the reporting party’s assigned parking space near the 2300 block of Ocean Avenue. Officer located a subject sitting the in the driver’s seat and another individual in the passenger seat. A records check of the license plate showed the vehicle had recently been reported stolen out of the Ventura County area. Luis F. Ramirez from Thousand Oaks was arrested for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and possession of a controlled substance. Ramirez remains in police custody with a court date of August 4, 2022.
