Crime Watch is culled from reports provided by the Santa Monica Police Department. These are arrests only. All parties are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On June 23 at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of 7th Street for a vandalism call. Upon arrival the officers learned that someone threw a brick through the window of the building. Officers could hear someone yelling in the alley and questioned him about the broken window. He stated that he threw the brick and was thus booked for felony vandalism. Aaron Heynsen was arrested and transported to the Santa Monica Jail.
