On June 24
Officers were dispatched to a call regarding a vandalism that had just occurred. It was approximately, 4:30 a.m. and a witness stated he saw the suspect throw a rock at the side window of the business and then kick it in. According to the witness, the suspect entered the location, climbed over the counter and attempted to access multiple cash registers. Upon arrival, officers observed the broken window panel and the suspect inside. Devin Whiteside was contacted by police and arrested for burglary. He was transported to the Santa Monica Jail and issued a citation due to the LA County Emergency Bail Schedule.
