On June 26 at approximately 6:10 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to a residential location for a potential burglary in progress near the 100 block of Hart Ave. A suspect was seen attempting to pry open a door to the residence with a screwdriver. An alert neighbor saw the incident and yelled out to the suspect to leave the premises. Although the suspect fled the location before officers arrived, the witness followed the suspect and provided officers with a description and direction of travel. Officers located the suspect within the area where he was arrested based on the witness statements. The suspect was later found to be in possession of property from the burglarized home. Jessie A. Quintanilla was arrested for burglary, resisting a peace officer and for an outstanding warrant. At the time of writing, Quintanilla remains in police custody.
