On Sunday, June 5 at 2:01 p.m.
Officers responded to Burton on the 1400 block of 4th Street regarding someone shoplifting in the store. Upon arrival, an employee relayed that she witnessed a subject hide a beanie under their shirt. The employee confronted the subject, who then began yelling at the employee and proceeded to walk out of the store. Officers located the suspect, Summer Elizabeth Johnson, and she was arrested for shoplifting.
On Friday, June 3 at 4:32 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to Vans on the 400 block of Broadway regarding a theft. The store employee relayed that she saw the subject walk out of the store with several boxes of unpaid merchandise. An officer assigned to the Drone unit, spotted the subject on the 1400 block of Alley 4 and notified patrol officers. Brandon R. Kelly was located and arrested for shoplifting.
