On TV in May, of 2003, the banner behind uniformed George Bush on the podium on the battleship read: “Mission Accomplished”, as he celebrated with troops the “victory” of his ill-fated invasion of Iraq.
This weekend the Iraqi Parliament voted to expel U.S. troops from their land.
What could have gone wrong from yet another American military intervention?
Should the U.S. have invaded Iraq in the first place?
Should Trump have assassinated this week a prominent leader of a country, Iran, whom we’re not even at war with, and on Iraqi soil?
Will our mission be accomplished even if we are able to see Trump banished at election, in November?
