These are arrests only. All parties are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD) officers responded to a call May 27 at 10:05 p.m. about two individuals who were parked in an alley. The person who made the call said they had outstanding warrants for their arrest and that they had fentanyl in the car.
The officers noticed drug paraphernalia on the floor of the car and found a hypodermic needle. One of the individuals displayed symptoms of being under the influence and the other was in possession of a glass pipe used to ingest drugs. When they took the individuals to SMPD’s jail, one individual concealed drugs and provided a false name.
Ryan McNeese, 35, of Los Angeles, was booked for false impersonation, possession of methamphetamine, opiates and drug paraphernalia and a probation violation. He is being held without bail.
Maya Vanessa Olivera, 27, of Santa Monica, was booked for possession of drugs in jail, possession of opiates, false impersonation and bench warrants.
