On August 2, 2017 at about 9:52 p.m.
An officer responded to a radio call for service at the Cheesecake Factory at 395 Santa Monica Place regarding a subject under the influence of narcotics. When the officer arrived, the subject was being treated by Santa Monica Fire Department Paramedics. The subject was being uncooperative and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. Officers determined the Santa Monica Place Mall Security had asked her to leave the premises but refused to do so. The subject was placed under arrest for being under the influence of narcotics and trespassing. Fabiola Mejia, 19, homeless was arrested and issues a citation for trespassing and public intoxication.
