The defending CIF-SS Division 4 champion Samohi softball team was honored during the unveiling of their banner on Tuesday during a basketball double-header.
Members of the team, including retired head coach Debbie Skaggs and her coaching staff of Dan Ramos and John Heavens, were attendance as the banner was revealed. The championship was the first in the sport in school history.
