Hello Summer...it’s picnic season. Make sure that the farmers market is a priority stop on the way to the beach or your favorite hike! It’s the perfect one stop shop for just about everything you might need. So convenient. And it’s local. Look for local freshly picked stone fruits like peaches, nectarines, pluots and plums. Grab some cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and cheeses all from local farmers. To accompany the delicious bounty of the season, you will find freshly pressed fruit juices, fancy coffee and tea drinks, breads, pastries and brunch offerings from our amazing food vendors. Farmers Markets are an incredible community resource. Plus, there’s free music and activities too. Who knows, you might even decide to stay for a while.
There’s a lot happening this month as we emerge from the solstice kick off and are headed full swing into summer and the July 4 Holiday. Look for special events, pop ups and watermelons too.
We are excited to announce that both Pico and the Main Street Farmers Markets have some amazing new food vendors joining us this month. Always something new. See you there.
