A woman was sentenced this week to six years in state prison for the hit-and-run death of a 62-year-old man five years ago, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced.
Brittnee Monique Crawford, 28, entered a no contest plea on April 2 to one count of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
The defendant ran over and killed pedestrian Paul Kevin Grover near Lincoln Boulevard and LMU Drive in Playa Vista on Jan. 9, 2014, prosecutors said. Evidence left at the scene led to charges being filed two years later but Crawford was not located until early 2018.
Case SA092302 was investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department.
