On Monday, September 7, at approximately 12:30 p.m.
SMPD officers conducted a traffic stop near the 1700 block of Lincoln Blvd. Officers observed the vehicle in question making unsafe lane changes. Upon stopping the vehicle, speaking with the driver and conducting a series of Standardized Field Sobriety tests, it was clear to the responding officer that the subject was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Suspect Jackson Guthy was booked for CVC 23152(f) Driving under the influence.
