
PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY — The Santa Monica Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect involved in three sexual assaults.
The suspect rides his bicycle next to the victims. As he passes, he grabs their buttocks, breast or genital area, police said. The suspect is described as a Latin male, 20 to 30 years old, 5-feet, 8-inches tall, 180 pounds, unshaven, wearing a short-sleeved chef’s coat and pants with a small black and white checkered pattern. The suspect was possibly riding a 10-speed bicycle.
The assaults occurred:
• June 22, 2010 at 4:09 p.m. in the area of 14th Street and Santa Monica Boulevard. Police said two women were targeted.
• June 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the area of Second and Strand streets.
The ages of the victims were not released but police said they were not juveniles.
