Officers responded to a radio call for service at the 2900 block of 11th Street regarding the brandishing of a weapon – a possible handgun. Officers arrived and located two male subjects involved in the incident. Officers determined the victim was driving southbound along 11th Street when another vehicle approached and began honking its horn to maneuver around the vehicle. As the vehicle maneuvered around, words were exchanged causing the driver of the car honking and maneuvering to get out. As the suspect driver approached the vehicle. The victim driver, out of fear for his safety, exited the vehicle and punched the suspect in the face. The suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the victim with the knife. The suspect was taken into custody and a knife was recovered from his pant pocket. James Robert Notto, 56, brandishing a deadly weapon. Bail $25,000.
