PUBIC SAFETY FACILITY — Santa Monica Police are searching for a suspect in a lewd conduct with a minor case that dates back to June of 2008.
Investigators are reluctant to disclose the nature of the crime Christopher Carrington Camp, 67, is suspected of committing saying only that he remains a fugitive.
SMPD Detective Lloyd Gladden said that there is just one victim in the case. The alleged incident occurred in Santa Monica between August 2006 and June 2008. He would give no further details due to the sensitive nature of the case. The department has been actively searching for Camp since late May.
While Camp’s whereabouts are unknown, police have released a description of the suspect’s vehicle including a license plate number. The suspect might be driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe with California license plate 5FRM206.
Camp stands 6-foot-2, weighs 190 pounds, has blue eyes and gray hair.
