Santa Monica Planning Commissioner Richard McKinnon will be formally announcing his candidacy for the Santa Monica City Council at a campaign launch event held at the home of Jay Gordon and Meyera Robbins on May 9.
Richard McKinnon is a renter, small business owner, current Santa Monica planning commissioner and former Parks & Recreation commissioner. He describes himself as a committed environmentalist, Chair of Arboretum Santa Monica and the former chair of Bike It! Day.
