The Santa Monica Democratic Club, continuing the series of events we are cohosting with the Malibu and Pacific Palisades Democratic Clubs offering local Democrats and the general public a chance to hear from and ask questions of as many of the large number of contenders for the Democratic nomination for president as possible, will be presenting Governor Jay Inslee of Washington Monday, July 22, at 5 p.m. (doors open at 4:30 p.m.) at the Palisades Women’s Club.
Organizers said Governor Inslee is taking part in the contest to bring a laser-targeted focus on the urgent, globally existential climate crisis, making this a very newsworthy event despite the long odds of his securing the nomination.
