Stolen Mustang goes Viva Las Vegas

Officers respond to the Hampton Inn (501 Colorado) regarding a stolen vehicle report. The Reporting Party indicated that his rental vehicle was given to the valet driver of the hotel on June 8, 2019 at about 3:53 PM. Hotel video surveillance shows the valet driver, drive the vehicle off the property without the driver’s consent. The officers were able to identify the suspect involved in the theft. On June 10 Officers were notified by the rental company that the vehicle (black convertible Mustang) was recovered in Las Vegas. On June 16, 2019 at about 3:53 PM, Officers observed the named suspect walking in the 1400 block of 5th Street. Officers confirmed that there was an active WANT for the subject and subsequently arrested him. Jacquari Alphonse Hill, 31, of Lynwood, was arrested for stealing a vehicle. Bail was set at $25,000.
