On January 9, at 8:55 p.m.
Officers were called to the 900 block of Wilshire for a burglary call. Officers met with the property manager who shared that a male suspect was inside a vacant apartment using the bathroom and showering. The property manager made contact with the suspect and told him to leave which the suspect refused to do so. The property manager called the police and followed the suspect out of the apartment until police arrived and detained him. This suspect was at the same apartment complex two months prior and was told not to return. Johnny Washington, 60, from Carson, was arrested for burglary. Bail was set at $50,000.
