On November 27, at 5:40 a.m.
Officers were in the 1200 block of 4th Street when they observed a female driver in a vehicle that had no license plates and with fresh collision damage. As officers approached the vehicle, they heard a male voice yell at them, “Hey that’s my mom.” The subject then ran at the officers with an exposed fixed blade knife in his hand. Officers ordered the subject to drop the knife which he did so. When officers went to the take the subject into custody for brandishing and running at them with a knife, the suspect resisted arrest. Robby Lee McKnight, 59, from Santa Monica was arrested for resisting/delaying arrest and brandishing. Bail was set at $25,000.
