Incident of the day
On Jan. 14 at approximately 9 p.m., officers responded to a possible DUI call at9thStreet and Pico Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers contacted a suspect, Jose Medina, 33.
Witnesses at the scene had observed the suspect travel southbound on 9thStreet on a motorcycle before stopping at the intersection. Upon investigation, officers administered field sobriety tests on the suspect and determined he was driving under the influence.
He was arrested and booked for driving under the influence. Bail was set at $20,000.
