On September 19, at 7 p.m.
Officers responded to a Burglary just occurred at the Santa Monica Mini Storage facility located at 1620 14th St. A male subject broke into a storage unit and stole property from inside. The suspect was seen using a crowbar to open one of the units and take two guitar cases from the unit. The owner of the unit was contacted and stated no one had permission to be in his storage unit or remove items from it. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. David Jordan Wilkinson, 50, Homeless, was arrested for burglary, possession of methamphetamine and an outstanding warrant. He was denied bail.
