On May 14 At about 7:26am
Los Angeles County Lifeguards located a male, Hispanic, in his 50s, down and not breathing in the 2200 block of the Beach. The subject appeared to be experiencing homelessness. Santa Monica Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced him dead at the scene. The death appears to be natural causes. Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office responded to handle the investigation and identification.
