Officers arrived at Ralph’s on the 1600 block of Cloverfield regarding a disturbance. The store’s security stated that an individual who was now in the parking lot had attempted to steal several items from the location. When security confronted him, the individual proceeded to break and throw items and further began to physically assault one of the security guards. The security guard pepper sprayed the subject and waited for police arrival. Niryn Ahmad Mitchell was arrested for battery.
