On Nov. 12 at approximately 3:05 a.m.
Police and Fire dispatch received a call from a male subject stating he had stabbed himself in the stomach and wanted to jump off the rooftop of a building in the area of 19th and Wilshire. The subject was located on the roof with the assistance of an LAPD airship. SMPD Officers were able to make phone contact with the male, and eventually contacted him on the roof, where they discovered he had a laceration to the abdomen area. SMFD treated him on scene and he was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
