On Sept. 30 at approximately 6:50 a.m.
Officers responded to 1819 Cloverfield (Chevron Gas Station) regarding a robbery that just occurred. The comments of the call stated the suspect pulled out an object believed to be a knife, pointed it at the storekeeper and then threw items around the gas station. The victim also stated the suspect placed multiple bags of chips into one of the three backpacks on his person without paying. While responding to the call, dispatch alerted units that they had a visual of a possible suspect near the Bergamot train station. Terrance McCrea was located near the train station in possession of stolen property, a knife and other items. He was arrested and booked in the Santa Monica jail for robbery.
