Santa Monica College (SMC) continues its Communication, Media & Design Series this spring with an informative two-part talk and audience Q&A with installation artist, animator, and independent filmmaker Patrick Smith. In “Independent Animation Filmmaking with Patrick Smith – Part 1 and Part 2,” he will discuss his evolving career over the past 20 years, including how he came to animation, his early work as storyboard artist with Disney, and his move into creating his own independent films and commissioned work.

A Zoom link to each talk will be posted with the listing on the SMC Events calendar at smc.edu/calendar. To attend the workshops, the Zoom software must be installed on the viewer’s computer.
