Chamber swings over to welcome new sporting space

The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce got in the game on Wednesday, welcoming SportsFest to 1318 4th St. with an official ribbon cutting ceremony. The pop-up is the brainchild of former sports industry strategic consultant Mari Miranda, who opened the space to let locals try their hand at baseball, tennis, lacrosse and cricket within the same batting lane.
