Officers responded to a burglary in progress on the 2700 block of Lincoln Ave. Upon arrival, officers detained a subject while speaking to a nearby witness. The witness relayed seeing the subject break into the storage containers in front of the business and take several items. Upon searching the subject, officers located two bags containing methamphetamine. Francisco Torres was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and for entering a structure with the intent to commit grand theft, petty theft or any felony offense once inside.
