On February 18, at about 11:51 p.m.
Officers responded to a radio call for service in the area of 14th Street & Santa Monica Blvd regarding a trash can on fire. When officers arrived they saw a subject standing around a City of Santa Monica trash can that was on fire. The subject had his hands over the fire. The subject admitted to starting the trash can fire. The Santa Monica Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. Adam Richard Kincaid, 45, from Colorado Springs, CO, was arrested for causing fire of a Property and vandalism. Bail was set at $5,000.
