On January 9, 2019 at about 9:10 a.m.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of 2nd Street involving an indecent exposure witnessed by an Animal Control Officer. Officers located the subject and he became combative with officers. The subject ignored all verbal commands, became more argumentative with officers and walked away. A struggled ensued with the subject. He was eventually restrained and arrested. Officers learned the subject was standing on the sidewalk and yelling at passersby. At one point, the subject dropped his pants exposing his genitalia and urinated on a tree. The subject was transported to SMPD Jail for booking. Anthony Daniel Woods, 42, homeless, was arrested for battery on custody officer, indecent exposure, narcotics paraphernalia, resisting arrest and warrant. Bail was set at $30,000.
