On Monday, September 7 at approximately 1:48 p.m.
SMPD officers were dispatched to a person with a weapon call. Upon arrival, officers located Suspect Adrian Santiago near Ocean Ave and Broadway holding a metal stick. The reporting party indicated the suspect had been waiving the pole at him in a threatening matter resulting in fear that he would be attacked. After contacting Mr. Santiago, it was discovered he had a “no bail” warrant and was placed under arrest for 3056 PC – Parole Revocation. Mr. Santiago remains in the custody of the California Department of Corrections.
