Santa Monica College’s Emeritus Acting Troupe is pleased to announce its winter 2020 performance — “Conversations: Scenes from Film and Theater” — at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 18.
The performance is free and will be held in The Edye at the SMC Performing Arts Center (1310 11th Street, Santa Monica). Ample free parking will be available on the premises. Seating is on a first-arrival basis.
The performance, which features students in SMC’s Emeritus acting classes, will showcase silly, serious, and quirky scenes that inspire, entertain, and offer something to think about.
“The Emeritus Acting Troupe has put a lot of time into producing a fun and meaningful performance that will surely entertain you,” said Dr. Scott C. Silverman, Associate Dean of SMC Emeritus. “Invite your friends and family and make an afternoon of it!”
Emeritus, SMC’s widely praised noncredit program for older adults, offers more than 120 free classes and special programs, and serves over 3,000 students each year.
